It's Never Too Late

Have you ever thought it was too late to start a new career? Or that you were too old to achieve a new fitness goal? Do you eschew spending time immersed in hobbies because of endless obligations? Have you lost sight of your dreams or even given up on them entirely?

Here are three people who refused to let go of their aspirations. They found fulfillment at different stages of their lives. Their stories are truly inspirational, and you can read the original article here.

John C. Taylor says, "people are shocked when they meet a 91-year-old capable of a 600-meter swim, 15-mile bike ride and 5-kilometer run." I don't think it's shocking that a 91-year-old is competing in triathlons, but it's most certainly impressive. Even more impressive? He didn't start running until he was 60.

Charlotte Rogan is now 59 and a published author. For her, writing was a hobby that started in her thirties. She was a very busy mother back then, and she had to make time to pursue her interest. But make time she did, and it eventually paid off.

Fifty-year-old Rebecca Waring-Crane is working as an artist. She redesigns old furniture for a living. Prior to finding the chair that got her artistic juices flowing, she had various interesting jobs. However, none of them were the perfect fit that she would eventually find through her creative endeavor.

I hope that people like this will motivate others to set goals, have dreams, and look for opportunities. Always make time to enjoy the activities that make your soul sing. Never believe that you can't do what you love. Keep exploring, until you discover the path that you were meant to be on.
